Before your scan

Bring your referral, Medicare card and any prior imaging. Our team confirms preparation instructions when your appointment is booked.

During your scan

An experienced radiographer performs your examination in a calm, professional environment. Most scans take 15–45 minutes.

After your scan

A sub-specialist radiologist reports your images and sends results directly to your referring practitioner within 48–72 hours.

  • Abdominal scans: fast 6 hours
  • Pelvic scans: full bladder — 1L water 1hr prior
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing

Includes check-in, imaging and initial review. Some studies take longer if additional sequences are requested.

Medicare & fees

Bulk-billed for eligible referrals.

DVA, WorkCover and TAC referrals accepted. Contact your local clinic for a fee estimate.

Do I need a referral?
Yes — all diagnostic imaging in Australia requires a referral from a GP, specialist or allied health professional.
How do I get my results?
Reports are sent directly to your referring practitioner, usually within 48–72 hours. Images are available via our secure Vision Patient app.
Is the scan bulk-billed?
Most examinations are bulk-billed with a valid Medicare referral. Our team will confirm any out-of-pocket cost when you book.
What should I bring?
Please bring your referral, Medicare card, any prior imaging on disc or via our app, and a list of current medications.
